Eddie Murphy screen-worn Detroit Lions letterman jacket from the 1987 action/comedy sequel “Beverly Hills Cop II”. Murphy plays the same hard-nosed Detroit cop from the original film who returns to Los Angeles in order to help solve yet another case. The film was nominated for an Academy Award and for a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song. Below the inner rear collar is a “Whiting” manufacturer’s tag with size “44” and “DRY CLEAN ONLY” wash instructions. On the left chest it reads “LIONS” in silver chenille. Adjacent below is the Detroit Lions silver and blue chenille helmet patch. On the left sleeve is the number “67” in black chenille. On the right sleeve is the number “67” in black felt. Across the back reads “DETROIT LIONS” in the same silver chenille. Adjacent between “DETROIT” and “LIONS” is the same Detroit Lions silver and blue chenille helmet patch. The jacket was presented to us as screen-worn and in our opinion shows wear. Accompanied by StartiFacts documentation.
