Denzel Washington screen-worn Army fatigues from the 1996 thriller “Courage Under Fire”. Washington plays Lieutenant Colonel Nathaniel Serling who accidently caused a friendly fire incident during the 1991 Gulf War, which was hushed by his superiors. After the war, Lt. Serling is assigned to investigate the death of Army Captain Karen Walden, but his interviews with her crew members don’t add up. Just below the inner rear collar of the jacket is a “Motion Picture Costume” company tag. On the left chest is a light green strip tag with “U.S. ARMY” embroidered in black. Adjacent above and on the left and right collar are four patches embroidered in black. On the right chest is another light green strip tag with “SERLING” also embroidered in black. On the top of the right sleeve is a “RANGER” patch embroidered in green and black. On the top of the right sleeve is a patch reading “TOUJOURS PRET” embroidered in the same green and black. On the inner rear collar of the undershirt is a “Tee Swing” manufacturer’s tag with size “L”, a list of body fabrics, wash instructions and “SERLING” written in black marker. Adjacent above reads “CRC” written in black marker. Matching camouflage pants with no additional tagging. The Army fatigues were presented to us as screen-worn and in our opinion shows wear. Accompanied by a copy of Star Wares on Main documentation.
