“REACH” manufactured OAL Harridge baseball with a hole near the stamp from when the ball was mounted. This ball was the last one pitched during a September 20, 1958 game where Baltimore Orioles pitcher and Hall of Famer Hoyt Wilhelm threw a no-hitter against the New York Yankees with 8 strikeouts in a 1-0 victory. The east side of the ball has been signed by Wilhelm in black ballpoint pen with the added inscription “NO HIT NO RUN”, which was non-maliciously enhanced by the family. In our opinion the signature rates a 7. The sweet spot reads “No Hit Game - Sept. 1958”. The south side of the ball reads “N.Y. - 0 Balt - 1”. Also on the east side is “Last Ball Pitched”. All are written in light blue ballpoint pen. The ball is in good condition with heavy toning. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
