Arguably the best baseball player in history, Babe Ruth cigar holder with it’s original case. Engraved into the silver part of the cigar holder are Ruth’s initials “GHR”. On the inside of the case is a “BAKELITE” manufacturer’s tag. The cigar holder is in NM-MNT condition with the case showing some wear. Accompanied by a detailed letter of provenance stating that Fred Kunke’s grandfather, Thomas Kunke, was employed by the New York Yankees from 1919 until 1938 as a locker room manager and received this as a gift from Ruth after one of the games. It was then left to Fred after his grandfather passed away in 1985.
