This size 10.25, 10k gold ring weighs 24 grams. It was presented to John McMullan after the Albuquerque Dukes, Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, were crowned Champions of the Pacific Coast League in 1972. McMullan was a local Albuquerque businessman who worked hand-in-hand with team owner tom Bolack to promote baseball in the community and helped forge the great relationship between Albuquerque and the Los Angeles Dodgers. The top panel of the ring reads “PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 1972” in relief surrounding a blue sapphire-like stone. The right panel features a banner with the name “J. McMULLAN” above the casted image of a baseball player, a baseball diamond and laurelled leaves. The left panel features a banner that reads “ALBUQUERQUE” above the casted image of the “Dodgers” script logo. The inside of the ring is stamped “BALFOUR 10K”. The ring is in NM condition. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
