Chick Stahl was an outfielder for the Boston Beaneaters, later known as the Boston Americans, and he was among the most feared and consistent hitters of his time. “Spalding” manufactured white crescent baseball glove. On the outer wrist strap is the “Spalding” manufacturer’s tag. Our consignor states: “My brother bought the glove in 1998 at the estate auction of Robert "Bob" Parker in Fort Wayne, IN (Stahl's hometown). Parker was the famous illustrator/newspaper man who did the cartoons on the backs of the 1970s Topps baseball and football cards. He had an extensive memorabilia collection." The 100+ year old glove is properly tagged and in fantastic overall condition. Accompanied by a LOA from Denny Esken.
