2006 was Nomar Garciaparra’s first year as a Dodger and his stellar performance earned him the NL Comeback Player of the Year award. His .362 average at the 2006 All-Star break was the second highest by a Dodger since moving to Dodger Stadium in 1962. He was also selected to the 2006 NL All-Star Team as the NL Final-Vote Winner, receiving around six million votes. Garciaparra fell just short on being elected to the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility this past year, but he still remains a top candidate in the upcoming election. On the front left tail is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with two flag tags reading size “46” and “set 2 2006”. On the left inseam are two tags, one with size “46” and another with the wash instructions. Across the front reads “Los Angeles” in dodger blue and silver on white tackle twill. Adjacent below is the player number “5” in red tackle twill. On the left sleeve is “Dodgers” embroidered in dodger blue and silver on white tackle twill. Adjacent below is the Majestic “M” embroidered in dodger blue. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in red, white and blue. The player number “5” is also present on the back in the same dodger blue and silver on white tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by an additional LOA which states that this jersey was sourced directly from the Los Angeles Dodgers as well as two 8x10 color photos.
