On the center tail is a tag with washing instructions. Adjacent is a “1976” (carryover) year tag. There is no evidence of a patch or Tom Yawkey armband, which was used in 1976. On the inside below the rear collar is a “McAULIFFE UNIFORM CORP.” manufacturer’s tag with a size “42” tag below. Across the chest reads, “RED SOX”. On the back is the player number “24”. Half of the red tackle twill on the back player number “4” is torn. All numbering and lettering are done in the same red on navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the white jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows outstanding use with excessive wear.
