On the inner front left tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “46”, wash instructions and a flag tag that reads “SET 1 1986”. Adjacent to the right is a white strip tag that reads “2 INCH EXTRA LENGTH”. Across the front reads “OAKLAND” in green on white tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “McGWIRE” in green tackle twill. Adjacent below is the player number “25” in the same green on white tackle twill. McGwire played in 18 games in 1986 before his first full season in 1987 when he was named Rookie of the Year. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
