Hall of Famer Leo Durocher managed the Houston Astros for the final 31 games of the 1972 season and the entire 1973 season before retiring. Inside the rear collar is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with dry clean instructions and size “44”. The manager’s number “2” is written in black marker. Directly above is a leather strap used to hang the jacket. Across the front of the jacket reads “ASTROS” in orange and blue chain-stitching on white tackle twill in a “Shooting Star” pattern. The front snaps are all intact. The jacket shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Originates from the Durocher estate. The jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as worn and shows wear.
