Adjacent below is a white strip tag with the year “1997” printed in black. Across the front reads “Orioles” in black on orange tackle twill. Adjacent below is the player number “12” in orange on black tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Baltimore “Oriole” embroidered in orange, black and white. Adjacent below is a “200 BALTIMORE” patch to celebrate the bicentennial of Maryland’s largest city embroidered in orange, black and white. On the right sleeve is the “Jackie Robinson 50th” patch commemorating 50 years since Robinson broke the color barrier in baseball embroidered in blue, red, gold and white. Adjacent below is the Russell “R” embroidered in black. Across the back is the player name “ALOMAR” in black on orange tackle twill on a white nameplate. Alomar has signed the left chest on the jersey in black marker with the added inscription “12”, in our opinion the signature rates a 7. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
