“Rawlings” manufactured tan first baseman's mitt. On the outside middle and ring fingers is the heavily worn “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent above is “100% Nylon Sewn” stamped into the mitt. On the outside thumb and pinky area is the player number “5” written in black marker. On the outside top of the pocket reads “BENCH” also written in black marker. On the inside wrist area is the model number “DCT P”. On the inside palm is the “HEART of the HIDE” stamp. Bench has signed the outside wrist area in black marker with the added inscription “Catch Ya Later”, in our opinion the signature rates a 9. The first baseman’s mitt is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and shows outstanding use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and an additional LOA from Dennis Esken.
