On the front left tail is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with “SIZE 46” and an MLB hologram with serial number “037112 EK”. Adjacent below is a white strip tag reading “PROPERTY OF CINCINNATI REDS 2012” in black print. On the outer left seam is a tag reading “COOL BASE”. On the left inseam are two tags, one reading “+2” body” and the other reading “100% POLYESTER” with wash instructions. On the left chest is the “REDS” logo embroidered in red, white and black. Adjacent above is the Mother’s Day ribbon embroidered in light pink, dark pink and white. On the right chest and on back is the player number “54” in white and red on black tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Reds “Baseball head” logo embroidered in red, white and black. Adjacent below is the Majestic “M” embroidered in black. On the rear collar of the jersey is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in red, white and black. Across the back is the player name “CHAPMAN” in the same white and red on black tackle twill. Chapman has signed the “4” on the back of the jersey in black marker with the added inscriptions “#54” and “GAME USED 2012”, in our opinion the signature rates a 7. The jersey was acquired by Major League Baseball on May 13, 2012, but Chapman did not pitch in that game. However, the jersey has been photomatched to previous games in 2012 where Chapman pitched. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
