On the inner front left tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and two flag tags reading size “44” and “SET 1 2001”. Across the front reads “Mets”. Adjacent below and on back is the coaches number “2”. Across the back is the coaches name “VALENTINE”. All lettering and numbering is done in blue glacier on orange on black tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “Mets” logo embroidered in orange, blue and white. Adjacent below is the Rawlings “R” logo embroidered in blue. On the right sleeve are two American flags with “9-11-01” embroidered in black between them. On the rear collar is also an American flag embroidered over the official “MLB” logo. Both were added to the jersey after the September 11th terrorist attacks. Valentine has signed the back of the jersey just above the number in black marker, in our opinion the signature rates a 7. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as managers-worn and shows wear.
