The swashbuckling history of the AFL lives again in this nostalgic set of 25 excellent-condition, 9" x 11" Boston Patriot game programs from 1963 to ‘69. The Patriots of those days were a collection of odds and ends who only got to the championship game once, in 1963, losing 51-10. Still, the fans embraced them and those swashbuckling times are reflected by these great yearbooks, many of which feature amusing full-color artwork on the cover depicting QB Babe Parilli in comical situations involving the other team, such as battling a dolphin or holding a firecracker over a jet plane. Other covers are more serious, with portraits of the Archbishop of Boston, proof that for a Patriots fan a football game is a religious experience. Each yearbook is plastic-wrapped and so well preserved that they appear new.
