Hall of Famer and Cardinals relief pitcher Bruce Sutter wore this jersey during the 1984 season when he was awarded the NL Rolaids Relief Man of the Year award. On the inner left tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “46”, wash instructions and a flag tag reading “SET 1 1984”. Across the front reads “Cardinals” in red chain-stitch embroidery. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “42”. Across the back is the player name “SUTTER”. All are done in red on navy blue tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
