Hall of Famer, fourteen-time All-Star, five-time World Champion, four-time AL Home Run Champion, two-time Silver Slugger Award recipient and two-time World Series MVP Reggie Jackson worn jersey. The jersey was worn during the 1974 season in which Jackson and the Athletics were named World Champions after defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers in five games. On the inner front tail is the “McAULIFFE” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent below and to the left and right are three white strip tags, one with the size “44”, one with the year “1974” and another with wash instructions. On the left chest is the Oakland “A’s” logo in white on yellow tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “JACKSON” in white tackle twill. Adjacent below is the player number “9” in the same white on yellow tackle twill. Jackson has signed the “A” on the front of the jersey in black marker, in our opinion the signature rates a 7. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows extended use with potentially manufactured post play wear. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
