On the left front tail is the “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and size “48”. Attached is a flag tag reading “100% POLYESTER”. On the rear collar is a white strip tag that reads “21-48-98” in black print. In between the second and third buttons from the neck of the jersey are two corresponding velcro strips. On the left chest is the primary “Cubs” logo embroidered in red and blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “Crawling Cub” sleeve patch also in red, white and blue. Adjacent above is the Jack Brickhouse “HEY HEY” commemorative patch in white and blue on white tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the Russell Athletic “R” embroidered in red and blue. Adjacent above is the Harry Caray commemorative patch embroidered in black and blue on white tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “SOSA” which has been restore incorrectly, straight across the back in an atypical fashion. We are unable to locate images confirming this placement. Adjacent below is the player number “21”. All lettering and numbering is done in blue on red tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows use.
