On the inner rear collar is a black strip tag reading “MADE IN USA”. Inside the inner left pocket are dry cleaning instructions. On the left breast pocket is the official “TED WILLIAMS MUSEUM HITTERS HALL OF FAME” logo embroidered in red, blue, black and white. Above the inner left pocket is a black strip tag reading “Tailored Expressly for Derek Jeter” in gold stitch. The jacket has two buttons on the front and eight smaller sleeve buttons; the brass buttons have all been engraved with the Ted Williams Museum Hitters Hall of Fame logo. The jacket was prepared for Jeter who was to be honored at a 2002 event held at the Ted Williams Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida. Jeter could not attend the ceremony at the last minute due to last-minute flu-like symptoms. Accompanied by an additional LOA from a sports memorabilia store based out of Cooperstown, NY, home of the baseball Hall of Fame. The letter states that the jacket was “acquired from [an] official executive of the Ted Williams Hall of Fame in June of 2014”.
