On the front left tail is the “Mitchell & Ness” manufacturer’s tag with “COOPERSTOWN COLLECTION”. Adjacent below is a white felt strip tag with the year “1986” embroidered in black. The jersey reads “Mets” with the player number “18” on front and back and “STRAWBERRY” across the back. On the left sleeve is the “Mets 25 ANNIVERSARY” patch. The jersey has been signed by 39 members of the 1986 World Champion New York Mets. Notable signatures include: Hall of Famer Gary Carter and Mets Hall of Famers Dwight “Doc” Gooden, Mookie Wilson, Coach Bud Harrelson and Manager Davey Johnson with the added inscription “86 WS Champs”.
