On the front left tail is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent below is a white strip tag that reads “3 52 08 313” embroidered in black. On the left inseam are three tags reading “TAPER”, “+2” BODY” and “100% POLYESTER” with wash instructions. On the left chest is the Detroit “D” logo. Across the back is the player name “SHEFFIELD”. Adjacent below is the player number “3”. All lettering and numbering is done in navy tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Majestic “M” embroidered in navy blue. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in navy blue, white and silver. Sheffield has signed the front left of the jersey in blue marker with the added inscriptions “#3” and “Game Used 2008 Road To 500”, in our opinion the signature rates a 7. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
