Bill Hanzlik played college basketball at the University of Notre Dame. He was selected for the 1980 US Mens Olympic Team which never was afforded the chance to compete due to the US's boycott of the Moscow Games. Inside the right rear tail is the “Champion” flag tag with size “LARGE”. Underneath is a blank white flag tag. Across the front is “IRISH”. Player number “42” appears on both the front and back. Player name “HANZLIK” appears on back. All numbers and letters are done in green on gold tackle twill. Inside the rear waistband of the matching shorts is the “Champion” tag with size “M 32-34”. Attached is a heavily faded flag tag. Adjacent is a strip tag with player number “42” embroidered in green chain stitch. At each side is the team “Fighting Irish” logo screened on. The uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use.
