6-1/4” x 2-3/4” “THE BANK OF HOLLYWOOD” check from “HOLLYWOOD, FLORIDA” dated October 13, 1963. The check has been signed by boxing great Rocky Marciano in black ballpoint pen, in our opinion the signature rates an almost perfect 10. Marciano is the only person to hold the heavyweight title without a bout tie or defeat during his entire career and he defended his title six times. Many boxing historians rank him as one of the best heavyweight boxers of all time with his career record of 49-0 with 43 wins by knockout. The check is in NM-MT condition.
