9-1/2” x 12” “CIVIC ATHLETIC BOXING NEWS” newspaper “Page 4” dated “Wednesday, May 6th, 1964”. The paper has been signed by Joe Louis and Ernie Terrell in two different shades of black ballpoint pen, in our opinion the signatures rate an 8.5 overall. Nicknamed the "Brown Bomber", Louis is considered to be one of the greatest heavyweight fighters of all-time and held the title of World Heavyweight Champion from 1937-49. Terrell twice defended the WBA Heavyweight Championship until losing a 15-round bout to boxing legend Muhammad Ali. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
