Across the back reads “PERFECT SEASON” in white tackle twill on an aqua nameplate. Adjacent below the number is a white embroidered inscription reading “THE 1972 MIAMI DOLPHINS...ONLY NFL TEAM…WITH A PERFECT SEASON…”. The jersey has been signed by 28 members of the 1972 undefeated Super Bowl Champion Miami Dolphins. Notable signatures include: Hall of Famers Bob Griese, Nick Buoniconti (1972 Pro Bowl) , Larry Csonka (1972 Pro Bowl), Larry Little (1972 Pro Bowl & First Team All-Pro) and Jim Langer. Additional signatures include: Jake Scott (1972 Pro Bowl), Al Jenkins, Marv Fleming, Jim Dunaway with the added inscription “78”, Marlin Briscoe, Maulty Moore, Doug Swift, Garo Yepremian, Curtis Johnson with the added inscription “45”, Bob Kuechenberg, Howard Twilley, Ed Jenkins, Manny Fernandez, Jim Kiick, Mike Kolen, Doug Crusan, Hubert Ginn, Larry Ball and Larry Seiple.
