This extremely rare, early 20th century baseball postcard, is in good condition. There are 19 head photos that include, the manager "Kid" Gleason, and the eight indicted "Black Sox" players who were Fred McMullen, Claude Williams, "Chick" Gandil, Joe Jackson, Eddie Cicotte, "Buck" Weaver, "Swede" Risberg and Oscar Felsch. There are three creases on the card that you don't see at first glance. At the top of the card someone has scratched, Died Oct. 9, 1919. Could this be a reference to the date the White Sox lost the final World Series game in 1919.
