Before he became the most famous face in the world in the 1950s, Elvis Aron Presley was nothing more than a face in the crowd in the senior class at Humes High School in Memphis, Tennessee when this rare photograph was taken in 1950. In the 6 ½" x 20" black and white photo Elvis can be seen in his graduation gown and mortorboard seventh from the right in the top row, and this may have been the only time he ever blended in with his classmates since he would normally wear blue jeans and what others called "black people's" clothes. Within three years, Elvis would be making "black" music for the mainstream masses and skyrocketing to fame. The photo is in excellent condition and preserved under glass in a good-conditioned black frame.
