Beginning with 1929's "The Cocoanuts," the Marx Brothers were the nation's most beloved comedians. Their madcap, anti-establishment movies kept America laughing through The Depression and World War II, and Groucho ruled the early days of TV firing barbs at his guests on the quiz show "You Bet Your Life." This collection of four 4" x 5" autograph-album pages feature the signatures of Groucho, Chico, and Harpo but a must for collectors is the true rarity here, Gummo Marx, one of two "lost" Marx Brothers (the other being Zeppo) who only briefly were part of the act. All the signatures, addressed "To Eddie," are in fountain pen, with Groucho's in black and the rest in red, and rate a strong 9.
