President Dwight Eisenhower loved golf so much he had a 9-hole course built behind the White House. This 1956 letter to Lincoln Werden, president of the Metropolitan Golf Writers Association, is in pristine condition and written on White House stationery, with postmarked envelope included. The signature is in slightly foxing black ink and the paper is off-white with one barely-visible central fold.
