On November 22, 1965, reigning heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali, then known as Cassius Clay, faced off against challenger Floyd Patterson in defense of his title. The fight was stopped in the 12th round by the ref with Ali constantly hitting Patterson and taunting him saying "What's my name". This very good to excellent condition program from the fight has a vertical crease running down the center and a small abrasion on the upper portion where the stub was at one time attached. The stub is in excellent condition with the only detractor being two holes where it was once stapled onto the cover of the program. This is a very interesting stub which has pictures of both Ali and Patterson on the front.
