This highly-coveted promotional poster for the second Evander Holyfield-Mike Tyson fight, a desirable piece in its own right, is especially unique in that it bears the signatures of both protagonists in the most infamous bout in boxing history. While it's been said that fighters often leave a piece of themselves in the ring, no one ever left a piece of an ear before a confused and enraged Tyson chewed off Holyfield's right earlobe in round three, precipitating a disqualification as Holyfield retained the heavyweight crown. The striking poster hints at the animosity between the two men, who are posed against a black background scowling and sweating and with their arms folded. The theme of the bout, "The Sound and the Fury," is written in red lettering. Each man signed his name in gold marker under his image, with Holyfield adding "Prov 4:13." Both signatures are clear and stark and grade near a perfect 10. The 24" x 36" poster is matted within a gold-edged frame and comes with a letter of authenticity
