This Spalding Whitey Ford model glove was the first glove that Ed Kranepool used in his professional baseball career, as he used it with the Mets in their inaugural year of 1962. The glove shows great game use and is signed in bold black sharpie "My 1st Pro Met Glove 1962 Ed Kranepool #21." Kranepool wore number 21 in 1962 and a faint 21 remains on the glove. The glove comes with an original 8"x10" photo taken for Life Magazine, which shows Kranepool wearing this glove. It is also accompanied by Kranepool's personal letter of authenticity.
