This trophy was presented to Ed Kranepool by the Catholic Youth Organization when it named him the Most Popular Met in 1971. The trophy is made of a silver-like material on a black lucite base and measures 27 inches high with a base that is eight inches in diameter. The base has a silver nameplate engraved "C.Y.O. Most Popular Met Player Award Presented to Ed Kranepool 1971." The trophy would be in excellent condition if it were not missing the bat from the player's hand.
