This 35.5 inch, 32.75 ounce uncracked Ed Kranepool 220A model Adirondack Big Stick was used by Hank Aaron in a Home Run Derby contest in Japan between himself and Saduharu Oh after the 1973 season. Kranepool brought the bat to Japan for his own use, with a faint "7" on the knob representing his jersey number, but Aaron took the bat from the dugout to use in the Home Run Derby against Oh to decide the world's greatest home run hitter. The bat, which shows nice game use and remnants of pine tar, has been signed by Aaron in blue Sharpie and by Oh in black Sharpie, with Oh including both his English and Japanese signatures. The signatures are 9s or near 10s. The bat comes with a letter of authenticity from Kranepool himself and is also accompanied by a small photo of Aaron and Oh signed by both.
