Rickey Henderson led the American League in stolen bases 12 times during his illustrious Hall of Fame career, including in 1984 when he swiped 66 bases for the Oakland Athletics. A two-time World Series champion, Henderson holds MLB records for career stolen bases, runs, lead-off home runs and stolen bases in a single season with 130. Henderson was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2009 on the first ballot. Inside of the front center tail is a “Rawlings” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached is a flag tag that reads, “SET 1 1984”. Across the chest reads, “OAKLAND” and on the back is the player number “35” in green on white tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name “HENDERSON” in green tackle twill sewn directly onto the yellow jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows light use.
