On the inner front left tail of the jersey is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with flag tags size “44” and the year “2005”. On the left inseam is the “100% POLYESTER” tag with wash instructions. Between the second and third buttons are two corresponding velcro strips. Across the front reads “Mets”. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “45”. Across the back is the player name “MARTINEZ”. All lettering and numbering is done in the same blue glacier on orange on black tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “Mets” logo embroidered in orange, blue and white. Adjacent below is the Majestic “M” embroidered in blue. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in blue, orange and white. On the inner rear waistband of the pants is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent to the right is a white elastic strip tag reading “45 Martinez 35-39 35 C 05 P3” embroidered in black. On the inner front waistband is the “100% POLYESTER” tag with wash instructions. Above the right left rear pocket is the Majestic “M” embroidered in blue and white. This shirt was likely worn on the bench as it is sans custom opened sleeves that Pedro preferred to pitch in. The uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as bench-worn and in our opinion, shows appropriate wear.
