In 2003, Alex Rodriguez earned the American League MVP award by hitting 47 home runs, 118 RBI and having a .298 batting average. On the front left tail is a “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with four flag tags attached that read, “52”, “set 3 2003”, “+1 “slv” and “+2”body” respectively. On the left inseam are four flag tags that read, “52”, “+1 “slv”, “+2”body” and a materials tag with washing instructions respectively. Across the chest reads, “TEXAS” in white and grey on blue on red tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name “RODRIGUEZ” on a blue nameplate and below is the player number “3”. These are done in white on blue on red triple tackle twill. Above the player name is the official “MLB” logo embroidered. Rodriguez signed in the back player number in black pen with the added inscription, “MVP 2003 Game Used” and in our opinion rates a 7 overall. On the back player number is AROD hologram sticker “1041”. On the left sleeve is the state of Texas flag logo patch embroidered and below is a Majestic logo embroidered in white stitching. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and an LOA from Rodriguez with a photo of him signing the jersey.
