George Sisler was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1939. Sisler was the 1922 American League MVP, was a two-time AL batting champion and led the league in stolen bases four times. Sisler held the record for the most hits recorded in a single season. Manuf: H&B, Model Number: Vault marked, Side-written K16 - SW (illegible), Length: 33 in., Weight: 36.9 oz., Wood: Ash, Labeling Period: 1919-22, Condition: Cracked on the upper hand. The model number “K16” is engraved on the knob and barrel end. There is checking on the front and back barrel. Repairs: Checking nailed. There are ball/hit marks on the right, left, back and front barrel. The bat exhibits evidence of heavy game-use with good player use attributes. On the knob is PSA/DNA sticker “1B11640”. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA.
