Willie Mays was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979 on the first ballot. The 24-time All-Star is a World Series champion, a two-time National League MVP and was named to the MLB All-Century and All-Time Teams. Mays is one of the best overall outfielders to ever play and has a record-tying 12 Gold Glove Awards. Manuf: Adirondack, Model Number: M63A (engraved on knob), Length: 35.5 in., Weight: 35.8 oz., Wood: Ash, Labeling Period: 1968, Condition: Uncracked. Ball/hit marks are present on the left and back barrel. Blue rack marks are present on the right, front, left and back barrel in addition to the knob. Moderate pine tar use on the middle to under to the barrel. The player number “24” is on the knob in black. The bat exhibits evidence of medium game-use and has excellent player use attributes. Mays signed on the front barrel in black pen with the added inscription, “Best Wishes - S.F. Giants” and in our opinion rates a 6 overall. On the barrel end is PSA/DNA sticker “1B11595”.
