Earl Morrall is considered to be one of the backup quarterbacks in NFL history. Morrall had two defining moments: Filling in for an injured Johnny Unitas en route to a Super Bowl III appearance and filling in for an injured Bob Griese for the 1972 undefeated Miami Dolphins. Morrall was the NFL MVP in 1968. On the front left tail is a “MacGregor” size “46” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is a “Bacharach Rasin Co” distributor’s tag and adjacent is a tag with washing instructions. The player number “15” appears on the front, on the back and on each sleeve in white tackle twill sewn directly onto the blue jersey. This jersey is dated to 1968 as the 1969 jerseys had a NFL 50th Anniversary patch and 1970 had player names on the back. It was carried over from earlier stock. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
