The 1915 World Series saw the Boston Red Sox facing off with the Philadelphia Phillies. Boston wound up taking the series in five games with the help of a then little known ball player by the name of Babe Ruth. Scored in pencil from game three of the series the program is in very good condition although it gives an excellent appearance. The program features pictures of members of both teams and two team photos of the Red Sox both of which feature a smiling Ruth. On the cover of the program is some writing in black ink, and there is a vertical crease which runs down the center. With very minor discoloration and wear this is a highly collectable example of this early and important program.
