The Federal League was created in 1913 by John T. Powers and a group of entrepreneurs hoping to take advantage of the growing popularity of baseball. The original managers of the league included Cy Young. Despite signing "star" players, due to declining attendance, the league folded after the 1915 season and settled with the major leagues. This lot contains seven ticket stubs, reproductions of the box scores and team statistics from the Newark Federal League baseball games during the 1915 season. The bold red stamped number in the center of the tan colored stub indicates the game. The stubs are in excellent condition.
