On the front left tail is a “Sand-Knit” distributor’s tag and below is a “Sand-Knit” size “48” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. The player number “59” appears on the front, on the back and on both sleeves and is done in purple paint. Across the back reads the player name “WARWICK” in purple tackle twill sewn onto a white nameplate, which is sewn onto the white jersey. The nameplate has been restored. There is a team repair on the right sleeve. This jersey was worn in both 1969 and 1970 based on the following information. The outline on the left sleeve is where an NFL 50th Anniversary patch had previously been, which was on the jersey in 1969. That season was a Super Bowl championship campaign for the Minnesota Vikings. The nameplate dictates the jersey was also worn in 1970, which the Vikings added to their white road jerseys that season. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
