After winning the Heisman Trophy in 1995 for The Ohio State University, Eddie George was selected in the 14th overall in the NFL Draft to the Tennessee Titans. George was elected into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2011. “Riddell” manufactured “VSR-4” model helmet. Adjacent to the right ear hole is a player number “27” sticker. “SCHUTT” manufactured facemask with “SCHUTT” two clips that have “3” “99” on them, three clips with “3” “00” on them and one with “3” “01” on it. On the back of the helmet is the official “NFL” shield logo decal and an American flag decal. Each side of the helmet has the team’s logo decal. We were told by our consignor that this helmet was inspected by George himself and he confirmed its authenticity by pointing out identifiers, such as the crosses and player number found underneath the rear bumper. This helmet is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use with scuffing along the outer shell. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
