This is a program from the 1933 World Series which saw the N.Y. Giants battle against the Washington Senators. The Giants won 91 games during the 1933 season and were led by Hall of Famers Mel Ott, pitcher "King" Carl Hubbell and player/manager Bill Terry. The Senators won 99 games during the season and were led by Hall of Famers Goose Goslin, Heinie Manush and player/manager Joe Cronin. The Giants and Senators played five hard-fought games but in the end the Giants prevailed 4-1. This incredible 1933 World Series program from the Polo Grounds is in EX condition with a few creases on the back of the cover. There are a few small white paint spots on the spine of the program. Along with the program is a ticket stub from Game one of this series which was played at the Polo Grounds and is in excellent condition.
