The 1951 season saw a changing of the guard at Yankee Stadium. Joe DiMaggio announced that he would no longer be playing the game of baseball, and a young rookie by the name of Mickey Mantle was about to begin a career that would prove to be one of the best ever. This ticket stub dated June 30, 1951 has been signed by both Mantle and DiMaggio. The stub itself is in excellent condition showing almost no wear to the front and light wear to edges on the back. Mantle's signature rates a strong 8, and DiMaggio's rates a strong 7.
