Evgeni Nabokov was considered to be one of the top goaltenders in the NHL throughout his playing career. At the time of his retirement he had a career .911 save percentage and 2.44 goals against average over a 697 game career totaling to over 40,000 minutes of ice time. He was the first goaltender in NHL history to score a powerplay goal. In 2008, Nabokov had one of his better seasons as he was named to the NHL First All-Star team and was a Vezina Trophy Finalist for the best goaltender. On the left inseam is the “Rbk” manufacturer’s tag with a list of body fabrics and wash instructions. On the inner rear collar is the size “58” and “GOALIE STYLE” tags. Centered on the inner rear tail is the “SAN JOSE SHARKS” inventory tagging that reads “Game worn Jersey 2008-2009” along with the code “EN201” written in black marker and states the jersey was “ISSUED” on “11-22-08” and “EXPIRED” on “4-9-09”. On the v-neck is the official “NHL” logo embroidered in black and silver. On the right chest, on back and on each sleeve is the player number “20” in white on teal tackle twill. On each shoulder is the “SI” logo embroidered in black, white, teal and orange on black tackle twill. Below the rear collar is the Reebok logo embroidered in black and white. Across the back is the player name “NABOKOV” in white tackle twill on a black mesh nameplate. A fight strap is present inside the jersey. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
