James Worthy is a three-time NBA champion and brought home Finals MVP honors for his efforts during the 1987-88 season. Worthy was named to the NBA 50th Anniversary All-Time Team, has his No. 42 retired by the Los Angeles Lakers franchise and was elected into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003. On the front left tail is a “Champion” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Adjacent is a “Champion” distributor’s tag that reads, :DESIGNED 1993-1994 & TAILORED EXCLUSIVELY FOR L.A. LAKERS BODY LENGTH +3”. On the left inseam reads, “100% NYLON”. On the left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads, “LAKERS” and across the back reads the player name “WORTHY”. The player number “42” appears on both the front and on the back in white on yellow tackle twill sewn directly onto the purple mesh jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by a copy of an additional LOA.
