At 5-foot-5 and 195 pounds, with a size-18 collar and size-6 shoes, Hall of Famer Hack Wilson may have looked like a boulder on pigeon feet, but when Hack tied into a pitch it didn't come down for a while. He won the NL home run title four times for the Chicago Cubs and likely no one will ever match what he did in 1930 when he mashed 56 homers and had a record 190 RBIs. Wilson signed this classic-look, red-and-blue-stitched ball a year before, penning his full name and "Chicago Cubs 1929" in dark blue fountain pen. The signature has endured beautifully, remaining clear and stark and rating a solid 8. The ball is dirty brown and the area around the signature has been slightly shellacked, creating a nicely buffed texture.
