The Yankees cruised to their fourth straight AL pennant in 1963 even though Mickey Mantle played in just 65 games and Roger Maris only 90 due to injuries. The Bombers still cranked out runs and gave up scant few behind Whitey Ford's 24 victories and Jim Bouton's 21. This OAL Cronin ball is signed by 24 members of the team including Mantle and Berra on one sweet spot and manager Ralph Houk on the other. The signatures rate 7s to 9s and also include Roger Maris, Elston Howard, Bobby Richardson, Tony Kubek, Clete Boyer, Joe Pepitone, Tom Tresh, etc There is some minor staining on the otherwise lightly toned ball.
